Lives and works in São Paulo. A visual artist, he works with the appropriation of everyday objects, used and/or recyclable, experiencing new aesthetic configurations, transforming them into sculptures, installations, paintings, and other visual languages. Critically addresses the issues of the Anthropocene, producing displacements and interventions, constructing situations and contexts of ambiguities and doubts.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in artistic education from the Centro Universitário Belas Artes and receives guidance in text and image from Fabiana Faleiros. He participated in the artist guidance group with Ana Paula Cohen and Thiago Honório. He had solo exhibitions in 2022 and 2019 in São Paulo at Casagaleria and in group exhibitions at LambArts gallery and Casagaleria, at the Oswald de Andrade Cultural Workshop spaces, Ateliê 397, and exhibitions in Praia Grande and Piracicaba, among others. He was awarded in 2016 at the VI International Salon SINAP/AIAP with a gold medal in Painting for the work “Monk.”
The paintings from the series “Antropo Morfias D” presented by Milton Blaser are an extension of his production of anthropomorphic sculptures that the artist worked on in 2023 and recently presented in 2024 at Casagaleria as a guest artist in the collective exhibition “Project 2+1.” Painted on a different medium, the canvas, the images of the (recyclable) sculptures lead to distortions, provocations, and ironies, referring to the cause of the Anthropocene and the importance of the space these objects occupy in everyday human life. This led him to name these paintings the series “Anthropo Morphies D,” of developments, distortions, dystopia...
