«The only constant in the universe is movement »
For Noora Kulvik and Ana D. Lombard, this is an absolute truth.
Their artistic work is a collaboration to explore, experiment and study movement. Initially, conversations about overconsumption of our society’s natural resources led Noora and Ana to work on these topics. It was then through many hours of observation that they were brought to work with the movement. From there, Ana and Noora moved on to the theme of rotation. They show through their works that perspective and vision are constantly transformed. Thanks to the rotation, the small moment of strong and sublime energy in motion can be frozen. It is the moment when the subject becomes abstract and allows the imagination to see an infinity of possibilities.
