The traditional art, traditionally associated with the representation of everyday scenes, is reinvented in the digital age to explore social proximity and the image we project on social networks. These works capture the paradox of today’s hyperconnectivity: we are closer than ever through screens, but the images we share are often an idealized version of ourselves. The works seek to question the authenticity and depth of connection in a world dominated by superficiality and appearances.
