Degree in Mathematics at Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona (UAB) (2008). Special interest in infinitesimal calculus, topology and infinite series. PhD in Physics in UAB and ALBA synchrotron (2014). Thesis research about mathematical algorithms for improving accuracy of instruments used in particle accelerators. Pep Vidal has two important conclusions from here: there are some extremely sensitive and complex systems; and he is not interested in research that doesn’t include his own experience and vital life in the process. Works with infinitesimal changes -changes really small- that are constantly always everywhere. The chain of infinitesimal changes is infinite and chaotic.

He has shown his work in individual exhibitions at Abrons Arts Center, New York; ADN Galeria, Barcelona, with Who wants to be an important gardener ?; {1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ...}, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya MNAC, Barcelona; =, Maczul, Maracaibo, Venezuela; Language, Gallery L21, Palma de Mallorca, Spain; LMNO Gallery, Brussels; Rolando Anselmi Gallery, Berlin; and Espai Cub La Capella, Barcelona, Spain. He also participated in group exhibitions in museums and galleries such as Joan Miró Foundation, Barcelona, with Beehave; Botín Foundation, Itineraries XXIV; 4.43 milliards, the question of matiere, CAPC musée d'art contemporain de Bordeaux; Crossing information, Museum of Contemporary Art, Croatia; How to do things with documents, Fundació Antoni Tàpies, Barcelona; Passe / Impasse, Blue Project Foundation, Barcelona; Libertas, VII Biennial of Jafre, Girona; Gap Final Exhibition, Fabrica del Vapore, Milano; and Generationes 2015, at La Casa Encendida, Madrid.
