Russell Herron has worked in a wide variety of mediums, most of his work has been conceptual. In recent years he has become known for a series of pencil drawings of cardboard faces. During the 2020-2022 lockdowns, he drew more than 100 of these little cardboard faces. "Once I sold the portraits, it was like these lost souls found a home," he says. "People seemed to really connect with them."
