Sandra de Jaume is a Spanish artist born in 1978 who lives and works in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. In 2024, she took part on the exhibition "Miradas Femeninas" in the MEAM museum. She took part with some works en Art Madrid 2023 with the Uxval Gochez Gallery. In 2018 her artwork "Frida Kahlo with Okinawa Flowers" received the award of the jury of The World of Frida, comprised of a tour with her artwork in over 10 museums across the United States, that lasted until 2022. Since 2013 due to taking part in the "Pool Art Fair" of New York and the "Festival Miradas de Mujeres España (MAV)", Platform, Arco Madrid, her work has been exhibited in numerous collective exhibitions at a nacional and international level, and she has exhibited in countries like: New York, Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei, Montecarlo, Braga, Madrid, Barcelona, Toronto, Paris, London, Los Ángeles, Miami, Texas, Mexico, etc. De Jaume has received along her career several international mentions and awards besides the award of the jury of the World of Frida for her artwork "Frida Kahlo with Okinawa Flowers" by the Berdford Gallery, California, 2018. She has been selected for the special Catalogue Figuratives MEAM, Museo de Arte Moderno, Barcelona, for her artwork "Vanitas" in 2023. She has also received the International Award of Art in Paris, for her artistic career in the Art shopping Louvre 2022 or the "Art Revolution Taipai" award in Taiwan, 2019, comprised of an individual exhibition in the Artist's Saloon of Taipei. Sandra has also worked on several commissions of institutional portraits like the case of the controversial "Retrato de Aurora Picornell" for the Island Council of Mallorca.
