Wayne Ensrud (b. 1934, USA) “Time: 4:36 PM” (2009) is an 18 x 24-inch acrylic, fabric and paper painting on canvas by the well-known and multi-talented painter, art director, animator, and art teacher. According to Ensrud, 'Constructing pictorial space using lush colors contrasted by deep darker tones creates a spontaneous layering of textures and shapes. Expanding upon abstract painting, this artwork of linear shapes juxtaposed with graceful curves creates a balanced composition radiant with life.' An inventive innovation, this mixed media abstract painting presents a unified composition and contrast of light, shape and color. Wayne Ensrud is an internationally known and acclaimed artist who has had over 60 exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Mexico and Japan.
