Diana Torje is a French-Romanian artist based in Paris, known for her intricate abstract compositions that merge graphic precision with painterly expression. Born in 1983, she earned her BA and MA in Graphic Arts from the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Torje developed a distinctive style she calls “Graphic Paintings,” characterized by layered textures, color modulations, and a touch of relief work. Her works often draw inspiration from nature’s complex patterns, resulting in labyrinth-like pieces that invite contemplation. Additionally, she explores abstract pointillism, meticulously applying small acrylic points to create dynamic visual effects. Torje’s art has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout France and internationally, and she is represented by Galerie Bruno Massa in Paris.
