Inês Teles completed her postgraduate studies at the Byam Shaw School of Arts, CSM, and a MA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, as a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation scholarship holder. Teles is currently carrying out a PhD funded by FCT, to develop a research entitled “Mutable Materials, Circular Experimentation”. She is also a collaborator at the Vicarte Research Center, in the Sculpture Department.

She has participated in exhibitions in Portugal, at Coletivo Amarelo, and in the National Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as in other places such as Prague, Madrid, Porto, and Meymac, and won the International Art Award 2019, from Fundación María José Jove, in Coruña, Spain.
