Juliana Matsumura is a Brazilian artist who works and lives between Brazil and Portugal. She holds a degree in Drawing from Ar.Co, Lisbon. Some of her artwork are part of prestigious collections, such as PLMJ Foundation in Lisbon, and Fondazione Fiera Milano. One of her main solo exhibitions, “A Body in the World”, held at Coletivo Amarelo Gallery in 2024, was curated by João Silvério. 

Her artistic research explores relationships between the body, ancestry, and territory, situated at the intersection of drawing, engraving, installation, writing, and performance.
