Phil Luangrath and Favio are creative partners whose artistic journey blends fine art, design, and craftsmanship. Phil, born in Laos and raised in the U.S., studied art at California State University Long Beach and later pursued product design, drawing inspiration from his global travels and childhood love of drawing. Favio, originally from Argentina, developed a deep connection to metalworking as a child in his father’s factory, alongside a passion for tin toys and exotic cars.

Since meeting in 1996, the duo has collaborated on metal fabrication from their Miami studio, producing decorative objects, furniture, and lighting for top-tier clients such as Neiman Marcus, Gump’s, and the Ritz Carlton. Their work bridges the worlds of design and fine art, often incorporating materials like vermeil and exotic leathers. In recent years, they have returned to their artistic roots, refocusing their creative energy on building a full-time art practice that reflects their diverse backgrounds, skills, and shared vision.
