The Tankoa S501, designed by Giorgio Cassetta, reveals its strength in balance. From the exterior’s linear geometry to the rich, layered interior palette, the yacht combines clarity of form with a profound sense of atmosphere. Within this architecture of contrast, light becomes the central material: carving through surfaces of dark walnut, bronze, and mirrored steel to create an interior that feels both dramatic and restrained.

Inside, the atmosphere shifts. Light travels through corridors lined in wood, tracing slow patterns across mirrored panels and bronze accents. Each surface seems to hold its own gravity, capturing the layered depth of the design.

At the heart of the interior, a textured metallic composition on panel glows softly between two dark wooden walls, commissioned by Kooness Art Consulting, and custom-made ad hoc for the project. Its surface catches the light in waves, creating a living pattern that changes with each movement on board. Above, reflections in the lacquered ceiling extend the work beyond its frame, an architecture of light within the architecture itself.

Across the surrounding spaces, contrast defines continuity. The warmth of the wood amplifies the panel’s muted sheen, while the precise lighting reveals the intricacy of its texture. Together, these elements form a dialogue of opposites, brightness and depth, weight and air, silence and resonance, composing the interior’s distinct identity.
