The Custom Line 140 represents a synthesis of performance, elegance, and contemporary design, where architecture and interiors are conceived to enhance life at sea. Within this refined context, our role was to develop an art selection that could complement the yacht’s identity while introducing a layer of storytelling capable of resonating with its owners’ lifestyle.
From the earliest stages, the intention was clear: to create an art collection that would not simply decorate the interiors, but instead evoke the spirit of travel that defines yachting itself. The result is a carefully curated selection of fine art photography prints, each chosen to reflect a specific destination along a familiar route, building a continuous visual narrative throughout the yacht.
Our approach was rooted in the idea of the journey—not as a linear path, but as a sequence of atmospheres, impressions, and emotional landscapes. The yacht becomes a vessel not only in a physical sense, but also in a visual one, carrying with it fragments of places experienced over time.
The narrative begins in the Mediterranean, the yacht’s natural point of origin. Images of coastal cliffs, luminous waters, and iconic destinations such as Capri introduce a sense of timeless elegance and familiarity. These works are characterised by bright tonalities, crisp light, and a balance between natural beauty and cultural presence, reflecting the refined yet relaxed atmosphere of Mediterranean cruising.
As the journey progresses, the palette and visual language begin to shift. The transition toward the Bahamas and the Caribbean introduces a more vibrant and immersive dimension.
